Disruptive Materials is founded on the commercialization of Upsalite®, the impossible material invented by Professor Maria Strømme and her team at Uppsala University. The company consists of thirty devoted people who develop and sell product concepts and solutions within pharma, sports and cosmetics. Today they have successfully launched partnerships with Palina (Cosmetics) in Sweden and Black Diamond (Sports) globally and is now looking to expand worldwide.

About the role: 

As an Account Manager within the cosmetics business unit, you are responsible for the entire sales cycle including finding the right prospects, presenting a tailor made solution and negotiating agreements to get projects off the ground. The role involves working with some of the best and most innovative cosmetic brands around the globe and the account manager will specifically be responsible for:

  • Generating prospects and building strong, long-lasting relationships with key brands in the cosmetics industry
  • Identifying needs, challenges and product concepts where Upsalite can add value for the end consumer
  • Presenting tailor made solutions and negotiating agreements for the foundation of the collaborations
  • Operate as the point of contact for any and all matters specific to the accounts

  • Contract negotiations

Experience from cosmetics, international sales and fast-growing companies is meritorious.
